Lewis Township was part of Clermont County prior to the  formation of Brown county in 1817.It was organized from Washington Township by the commissioners of Clermont County on 06-02-1807.

 


Feesburg located in the North Central  area of the Township was laided out in 1835 by Thomas J Fee
